Release day is tomorrow and we still don't have a thread created. What's wrong with us?
I have a case coming but probably won't get it until Friday.
I know Jon (jlzinc) has a couple coming too
Who else is in?

I'm still doing singles though...really wish I could find last year's box lid insert glossy 1 of 1 for Big Frank...I think it died though.
Last years Thomas run so far:
2013 Allen & Ginter Frank Thomas Collection
You really did a nice job on that
The 3 teams I own are the Angels, Rockies & Diamondbacks if you are looking for anything from those teams.
Looks like production was cut quite a bit and supposedly 1 of the big Rip Card buyers is back this year.
Can't wait for this!
<< <i>Ross, that's an awesome site.

Very creative, looks great!
To be honest, no direction, but...
1966-69 Topps EX+
1975 minis NrMt Kelloggs PSA 9
All Topps Heritage-Master Sets
Looking to BUY n332 1889 SF Hess cards and high grade cards from 19th century especially. "Once you have wrestled everything else in life is easy" Dan Gable
I do the base set, all base inserts, mini set(these are a beast), regular mini inserts(not the ssp's), and one 9 pocket page each of baseball autos, baseball relics, pop culture autos, and pop culture relics.
I should be recieving a box of 2014 as a birthday gift this weekend or next week depending on how the shipping works out on pre orders.
With Frank not on the checklist this year, it's tempting to buy a box or four. I'll be watching intently.
<< <i>I am hoping to acquire the cards of Anthony Robles (NCAA Champion wrestler with only one leg) from this release. I did not see any info regarding Mr. Robles but on his facebook page he showed that he was signing cards for it. >>
I'd also like to get the cards of Jordan Burroughs and Jordan Oliver.......cool to see three wrestlers in the set for me.......

Not sure what to think of a swatch of Michael Eisner's panties though
Have you placed a magnet on the rip card yet?

<< <i>Nice 2 box rip!

Hadn't looked at the sell sheet or anything so wasn't sure what you meant. Been trying to avoid knowledge to have more surprises.
So I just put a magnet to it and it's metal (kind of though it seemed heavier than a regular card)
Now to go see what they look like
BTW, nice rip Jon!!
<< <i>Sorry to have ruined the surprise, but I'm happy that it looks like you got a great hit! >>
Oh, no problem at all man. I just enjoy finding out a little bit at a time rather than study it all before I get to rip some LOL
Sell sheet say they are numbered but most on Ebay are claiming 1/1 and none of the pics I've seen show any numbering. Wonder what it really is?
Tracking shows my case arriving tomorrow - Gonna be a fun weekend
<< <i>Here's one supposedly. >>
not metal though, that's a super mini that came from a mini rip card that came from a dual rip card LOL
Dan, the magnet is because this year they put metal cards in some of the rip cards
12 hours to case break. Woot!!
<< <i>Just hit 4 grand on a scratch ticket on the way into work this morning. Think I'll order another case >>
Get me one too.
Congrats......Now get to New Bedford and cash it!

Christ, Mike, you are one of the luckiest people I know about.

He doesn't say how many scratch-offs he bought.
Only an idiot would have a message board signature.
I do buy them when I can but only when I'm carrying cash and that's not very often. Maybe 3-4 times a week I'll pick one up and only continue playing if I win enough to get more.
I'm sure he'll post everything over here tomorrow or so

I have grabbed a hobby box and have picked up about 6 blasters as my wife drags me around town. Lots of Abreu rookies, Tanaka mini rookie and a Wily Peralta auto is about the best I've done so far.

2 boxes had only 2 hits but still ended with 1 more than I should have.
Here are the hits

Nice rip(scratch off). If I may ask, did you get hit for any taxes on the ticket? I know some states require taxes over certain amounts won on lottery tickets.
A little Saturday morning wake and break
box 6:
Mike, picking up where you left off with the Jackie relic!
Speaking of rip cards, are you guys tearing into the cards or using a razor along the edge to open the card from the side?
Will somebody tell me who this zito guy in a suit is?
and box 7:
Brooks Robinson on the other side
