1982 Kellogg 3D baseball...worth grading?

So I'm thinking about having SGC grade the complete set. I've never done anything like that before and was wondering if you all think it's worth it? Nevermind if you're a psa, bgs, or sgc fan...is it worth grading? I may flip one day or I may not. Just want to see what you guys think. Thanks!

I had a couple sets that were all PSA 9/10. Cool cards, but value is tough. Looking at about $5 for a 9 and $10 for a 10. Could be about a break-even proposition if the set is really nice. Personally, I sold the graded ones and enjoy the are sets now.

If I was getting into Kellogg's, I would aim for raw 1970 topps baseball and football sets. Tons of HOF and great designs.

Careful, cards can crack after slabbing. That's why I only buy graded Kellogg's in person.
Kiss me once, shame on you.

I'm a Kellogg's fan and have several hundred grade 8-10's, all PSA. I only collect HOFer's. Most of my stock (80%) was purchased from 4SC for $6-$15 each. This was a while back and I think prices have doubled in the last 5 years. Some of the big names will go for $20-$40 each, but most are still very affordable (cheap). I would keep the raw sets as sets as they may be harder to find in the future. If you really wanted to grade these, I would probably stick to the HOFer's and the big names not in the Hall.I have left many sets in the original envelope so I don't know the condition of them. The sets I do have open are pressed flat (or in rigid holders) so as to prevent cracking. Once cracked, they are not very desireable in my opinion. Also be aware of what you have; each year has variations. Good luck.

From a financial standpoint it probably doesn't make much sense. If resell isn't your thing, then I think it would be a nice set to get completely graded. It would help protect everything. Just my two cents....

I put them all in top loaders last night. I'm thinking that I should probably just keep them raw. Did the math and resell would be a bath.

I meant "enjoy the RAW sets." iPhone. Anyhow, I have a full run from 1970-1983, and it fits in a single 3" binder. Some of my favorite cards, along with 1975-1979 Hostess. As jmmiller notes, there are a bunch of variations. I don't really care about the copyright versus no copyright on back and other minor changes. I love the fronts!
