The power is there, but I wouldn't say he is necessarily "on fire" by King Albert standards.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

He is En Fuego if you just dumped 18.5K into his rookie card. Whatever makes you feel better I guess.

It will not be this year.....calm down.

And if he has been clean, I'd like to see him do it. Other than last year, he has been at the top of the charts year after year (although is BA has been down the past 4 years).

#600 may be in the offing in the 2017 season. That's a long wait, and my guess is that his card prices will probably dip as much as his average over the next several seasons... #600 might just be enough impetus to get them close to current levels when/if it eventually occurs.

He is becoming a compiler now!
I honestly don't think he will be playing more than 145 games a year here on out due to his age and the wear and tear he has put on those old joints. If you average his last three seasons together he gets 1.08 hits per game - 0.195266 Homeruns per game and 3.967 AB per game. At these rates he will hit 28 HR's per year that he plays 145 games. This would give him 605 HR's at the end of 2017. I just don't see him NOT going down with another major injury. And by major I mean time on the DL.
He is going to be pulled from games when his team is winning to save him for the next game and will be moving to DH to save him. As he ages his output will drop so the totals above will surely drop bit by bit each season.
His career batting average is going to tumble and if he really starts compiling it could go below .300. Though, he would really have to suck to do this. Anyhow, I just don't see him making it to 600 prior to the 2018 season.

<< <i>Well folks the good news here is when playing for the AL that he can DH from here on out to compile more stats! Heck with 7 yrs left on his contract even if he only gets say 21-24 HR's a year that will be 140 HR's added to the 511 he has now and say maybe 15 more this year he would have a total of +/- 670 home runs, then add in the fact that he will hit 3,000+++ hits! Not bad! >>
That's not good news. It's great news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<< <i>The 2001 Bowman Chrome Auto PSA 10 will.be a $50,000 card in the future >>
Or not
I am trying to figure out what has depreciated faster the $17,900 I paid on my 2004 Saab in 2007 or 2001 Bowman Chrome PSA 10 Pujols discussed above. I can still sell my Saab for $8500.
<< <i>I am on the fence on him using PED's. I do think he is 2-3 older than his birth cert says though. Either way he will make 600 on one leg or no legs. Then Angels will milk that out of him for sure.

If I had to choose either for $8500 I'd lean towards your SAAB
