My newest pickups. Some modern PC players and a little unopened.

As some of you know, my collecting focus revolves around my 1961 Fleer basketball registry set, unopened 70's and 80's, the occasional PSA HOF RC and a select group of modern players: Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, Stephen Curry, Andrew Luck and Will Clark. Here is the latest selection of my pickups. I am equally excited from the $11 Anthony Davis cards to the slightly more expensive 77 FB box.

Andrew Luck is basically the only modern FB player I collect. Excited for all of these cards as two of them I didn't have yet for the collection (the Topps Magic mini and the Finest Moments). I already had the regular Magic card and the Topps Chrome 84 inserts but I got great deals on them both, plus the other 84 inserts I already have has scratches on the case, so this is a nice aesthetic upgrade

A couple new Anthony Davis PSA 10's. I've got about 8 different PSA 10 RC's of him now. Looking to add more as I see them come up. I think he is soon to be the third best player in the NBA (behind Lebron and KD). I love the look of the Panini Select card.

Some of you may remember a post I put up a couple months ago where a seller shipped a card that arrived damaged and my disappointment in his handling the situation. That card arrived this way:

Luckily, eBay supported me and I got my refund for that card. These don't come up for sale that often, but I knew I was going after this when I saw it. I got lucky and got it for about $30 less than the first one. Very excited to finally add this one to the KD collection.

Finally, no post is complete without a little unopened. I took a chance with this box on eBay. It looked really good. I sent it to Steve for his opinion and he agreedimage I got a great deal for this 77 FB Wax box.

Thanks for looking!

Sweet pickups. Love the fb wax.
How much does it cost to have Steve authenticate unopened boxes?

    Nice pickups Steve.
The prices charged by BBCE vary. If you drop them a line, they will let you know the particulars for any item you have.
Always buying 1971 OPC Baseball packs.

    Scott--thanks!
MrNearMint--thank you . I am very happy with the 77 box. The packs looked good in the pictures in the listing so I thought it was worth a shot at getting it authenticated. Scott is right, the price for authentication varies. On average, Steve charges around 5% of the value of the box.

Steve, the 1977 Topps Football box looks really clean. Congrats on added it to your collection!!!
