keetskeets Posts: 25,351 ✭✭✭✭✭
Well, we have discussed "What" and When" so we may as well decide Where so we can invite Who to the investigation.

At Coin Shows and my local B&M. Occasionally when I'm lucky out of town B&M's...B&M's are my favorite. Especially if they have cool people working there.

"Where" is a safe deposit box. If you think it won't happen to you, you're wrong. Coming up on the anniversary of my burglary.

Oddly enough, he took everything but the Ikes, a few Lincoln cents and a Confederate note.

some of you guys are wrapped a little to tight, perhaps you should loosen up some.

an aside to Justlooking --- are there any leads and were you made "whole" by insurance??a loss like that would be difficult to bear.

Is this thread a sign that this forum has outlived it's useful life? ....or is the OP simply out of line!

I once criticized Bear for silly threads.....

It would seem that a moderator should intervene?

This thread has no discernible redeeming qualities?

    It just seems pointless.......

This happened ... about eight years ago now? Can't remember. They caught the guy. I had no insurance. He traded all the coins for meth. Long gone.

You clearly don't get it or it's numismatic value. Try thinking outside the box.

And worry about yourself, not others. image

OK! Here's the answer to Where???

This is a United States Mint that NEVER produced a single coin. It is in The Dalles, Oregon and part of the building still stands today, but is pretty much forgotten about
even by coin collectors since it never punched one out. Fascinating piece of history, especially for us coin people!

    READ ALL ABOUT IT HERE!

So, do any of you bandwidth crybabies have a numismatic "Where??" to contribute?

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
