Although just graded MS65 this 1950-S Booker T. Washington has the look of a MS67. Beautifully toned on the obverse and the undistributed reverse luster is so intense that everyone I've showed this to has the expression on their face like a deer in the head lights when the slab is flipped over.

I guess if "single best" means "most valuable," it would be this one.

If it means "best looking for the issue" I might go with this one. I don't care for the looks of a lot of Columbian half dollars I see. This one is an exception.

If it means "favorite," that would be the Delaware. I grew up in Delaware, and there are not that many numismatic related Delaware items to collect.

An original package in which Delaware commemoratives were sold.

Old Swedes Church, which appears on the coin, located in Wilmington, Delaware, as it appears today.

Actually one of my best commemorative half dollars I own is not even listed as a commemorative at PCGS but was issued by the mint as part of the Kennedy Brothers Commemorative set.

Purchased from the late Richard Green.
And yes it's Silver and graded MS70.
