Auction House References

It seems like every AH requires three hobby references to register. I've never worked with an AH before. Can ebay sellers be used as references?

Not quite sure, probably depends on the AH; cant hurt to give it a try and see what they say.

Tell them your three references are Benjamin Franklin, Ullysses S. Grant, and Andrew Jackson. That is basically what they want to know anyway.....

I was able to use my own ebay account as a reference for one auction house. I think I was able to use this site as well.
  • I registered for one that asked for 3 references and just gave my eBay id and that was all they needed.

+1, I've never needed anything else.

You should feel free to list anyone. We all had to start somewhere. You may be asked to provide payment ability before bidding on a five-figure item, but that's about the extent of it.
