Weekend Pickups (Nice wax included)

Over the weekend, picked up a few boxes. Am considering sending the 84 and 87 FB in to get authenticated by BBCE.

Wish the box itself for the 84's was a little better condition, but all the packs are fine. Considering ripping the 89 UD

Nice haul! The 1989 UD and 1990 Leaf were the two hottest products going back in the day. I am still a fan.
Always buying 1971 OPC Baseball packs.

That pic is a real trip down memory lane for me. The stuff I wanted as a kid that my $5/week
    allowance wasnt touchingimage

If you plan on keeping them sealed, I highly reccommend having BBCE authentic/wrap the
84 and 87's. Out of curiosity, what year is the basketball? I didnt do much b-ball in the day.

    Congrats and thanks for sharing!!image

The fact that a photo of a random 6 box lot of unopened can look so appealing explains why unopened has shot up so much in popularity and price over the past few years.

The photo is a 89-90 Fleer. Roughly a 30-40 dollar box........

The big boom may come tomorrow. When I bought these he told me he had a few more boxes stashed away. Am going to meet him in the AM to find out what he has and if he is willing to sell
