You folks have good memories for the years.

Zappa. 1974 or 1975 Detroit. Best concert...could have stopped there.
ELO 1978? Detroit. .....Canned but fun.
Seger. 1980 Detroit. Loud, but Seger....w Mitch Ryder
    Billy Joel. 1979? Detroit....... Eh.

Chicago.... Late 70's Pine Knob Detroit area......very nice.
    Jackson Browne ".........decent.
    Spinners ".....good as it gets.
    Doobie Brothers " .....disappointing.

    Diana Ross.....Late 70's Vegas........best concert ever.
Cher..............terrible, walked out early to gamble.
Olivia Newton John ' smokin hot!
Kenny Rogers' ".....front row center. Nice show.

    Modern Jazz Quartet........Detroit,......heaven.
    Arturo Sandoval........Detoit.......Ne plus ultra.
    Maynard Ferguson.......Detroit.....old but good.

    Maynard ferguson again...Phoenix........older but gooder.
Arturo Sandoval.... Tucson......Tucson.......3 hours in awe.
Leon Russel.......Tucson........70 year old man rocked hard for 90 minutes without a break!
Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson.....Tucson...............Manson was a nut but good time. Cooper was classic.

Each show was well worth the ounce or two or three of silver that I could have bought instead.

Now that was music with a dancing beat. Don't forget Motown and Disco along with the 60 and 70's Country Music.

In the last four years REO Speedwagon/Eddie Money (REO still sounds incredible, awesome show, recommended), Tom Petty/ZZ Top, Foreigner, and Nov 2013 The Eagles History of the Eagles tour, awesome show.

These are most from the mid-late 70's early 80's. Good times.

A guy who played golf almost every day was getting on. One day, he lamented to his best friend that he was getting older, his eyesight was getting bad, and he couldn't see where the ball went after he'd hit it. His friend said that he had an uncle who was 102 years old, but he had eyes like a hawk. All he needed to do was take his uncle along yhe next time he played golf, and have his uncle tell him where the ball went. The guy said that was great, and took the uncle along the next day. The next morning, the guy tees off, but as usual, couldn't see where the ball went. He asked the uncle, "did you see where it went?" He said, "of course! I got eyes like a hawk!" "So where'd it go??"

    "I forget."
