This card caught my eye a ways back on the bay, primarily because so many 1969 Ryans have a break in the top right black border line, and this one was clean. Also, the centering is usually pretty rugged. It was in a 7.5 holder and thought that it would've 8'd prior to the .5 system, so rolled the dice. Nothing crazy but something to share on a lazy Saturday.

Grote is correct-- I saw the card had a solid base of a 7, a high likelihood of that acceptable grade, so because I couldn't see it coming in below a 7, I figured why not roll the dice. I weighed it out and would not have been too bummed with a 7, so that made it an easy shot to hoist up there.

I gotta say there's something very cool and collectible about second year cards when the rookie was a multi-face. 79 Molitor, 74 Schmidt, 69 Ryan, 76 Carter, etc.
