Corncobb - I'm glad someone else see's the Denver game as it was and posted it.
That said - I have never said the Romo is the only problem at Dallas. He just blows it at critical times in the game and season. Like the games where you win or go home......we go home because of some stupid mistake by Romo.
You mentioned that Romo might mature. He has had 7 seasons....I don't see a good change coming. If anything he will get worse because of his back and getting older.
We need a new QB. We also need a new owner and Head Coach. But how do you get a new owner!!!???
Romo Played lights OUT that game. More than you can expect from a QB. Unfortunately the ONLY error he made was at a crucial point in the game.
That being said, It was Romo that single handily kept them in the game in the first place. So while yes, trying to force that ball was a bad decission that on the surface and at first glance appeared to cost them the game, the deeper underlaying reason for the lose was simply NO Defensive support.
So the final verdict? You put 50+ points on the board and lose? That's on the Defense! and Defense alone. So while that play may have led to the winning FG, I can't blame Romo for continuing to do what he did the whole game in even keeping the Cowboys in it. The lose lays squarely on the Defense in that Game.

Very true and this was all brought to Dimeman's attention in the original thread but as far as he's concerned, the score was 0-0 at that point when he threw the INT. Nothing preceding that matters.
