What a week in sports for our family!
My wife and I attended the Kentucky Derby for the first time this year. We stayed in Covington KY and enjoyed the bourbon bars there. I picked up a really nice bottle of Willet while there. Here is a pic of us at Churchill Downs. We did not strike it rich but we had a great time.
The day before the race the Brewers were playing the Reds and we attended the game which the 'Crew won. Below is a neat pic a some Reds oversized cards we saw at a bar near the stadium.
Last night our daughter and I attended a charity event with some Green Bay Packers. Our daughter got the opportunity to meet Aaron Rodgers, Randall Cobb and John Kuhn. The raised nearly $200,000 last night for The MACC Fund which is helping the cure of childhood cancers. The look on her face with Rodgers is priceless and I know I won't forget this night.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

That cracked me up.
I would say that was a great sports weekend.
BTW Rodgers looks extremely thin for a QB.

I did notice that, otherwise, I would have added it to my comment.

I read the Journal-Setinel online, and I read a nice article about the MACC fund and the evening that they had. Seems like your daughter was in awe of meeting Rodgers. Did she ask him how his collarbone was doing??
Also, awesome pictures from the Derby!
