1960 Bazooka Roberto Clemente, Hand Cut, What will this grade? *Update w/grade

What do you hand cut card collectors think this will grade? Is it worth trying to even up the edges? Back is blank and clean. Thanks!

  • I wouldn't touch it!! Looks like some of my Aaron 7's...looks like some of my Aaron 8's (assuming there are no marks or surface creases). Nice example.
    I NEED HANKS!!!
  • Thanks for the reply, looking at it closely, you can see the waviness of the cut the original owner did. If altering it would yield a higher grade I probably would attempt it. For hand cut cards all edge lines need to be (ideally) uniform and present, correct?

Would it have received a 9 had it been cut a little farther from the lines??

No, the cut can be right up to the lines as long as they show all the way around. At least in my experience.

    Beautiful card!

I was going to try and even up the top edge but butchered a practice run attempt on some Hostess Panels. I'm happy enough with the results for now.
