2 different types of 1869 $1 Rainbow notes?

After viewing many 1869 $1 Treasury Notes (Rainbow notes) on eBay, it appears that there are actually 2 different types.

One type seems to have much bluer paper than the other. The bluer paper variety is much more beautiful than the other, and really earns its "Rainbow" nickname. The other variety is much more drab looking.

I've tried finding documentation about these two different types, but I cannot find anything.

Can anyone help me out?

Is this in the wrong forum? I think there is a specific Currency forum.

In any case, I love these old currency notes

This is mine. Which category is this in?

I wonder, since you are making this determination from images, if you are seeing Photoshop tweaks.
That is, sellers tweaking the contrast or saturation.

Is that how your note looks in hand?
It looks too green to my eye.

I scanned mine in using an HP Photosmart scanner ...
and then tweaked the scanned image in Photoshop to look EXACTLY like the note in hand (in indirect sunlight)
So I was very careful to make the image look exactly like the note in hand.

Here is one from the PCGS Currency website ...

Still, the note that I posted has MUCH less blue than yours. Almost none at all. I do believe they were made on different paper.

In addition, the red seal on the note that I posted is smaller than yours.
