PSA log time?

Let me preface this by saying PSA is the best TPG service for cards, bar none.
That being said, I believe the service aspect of their business is lacking.
I recently sent in 2 10 day subs, last friday. The orders arrived at PSA on Monday at 9am. I wrote 10 day on every side of the box.
It is now Saturday (4-5 business days later depending on how you look at it), and the order has not even been logged yet. I sent a message to customer service Friday morning inquiring about the orders, and received no response.
This is very upsetting. You mark the package how they ask, pay the premium rate for a fast turnaround....and they sit on the package for 5 days....which does not count towards the turnaround time btw.....only starts once it's logged.
I know I am going to get a bunch of "deal with it" comments, but am I alone here?
I feel like I am getting cheated because my package sits there for however long they like before they decide to open it and start the clock.
End rant, flame away, just frustrated.

Unless you are doing it because of the card's value, I wouldn't spend the money on a faster turnaround time. Times aren't guaranteed and I have had a number of bulk/special subs pop very fast. I don't see a super strong correlation between a sub's advertised turnaround time and actual turnaround times.
Hang in there...

Retired - Eddie Mathews Master Registry Set (96.36%) Rank 1
- My under $100 specials approx. 60 cards usually log in 7-10 business days.
- under $250 specials approx. 30 cards usually 5-7
- I just had a ONE card renewal voucher log next day.
So there is a lot more than just receiving the submission.
Personally, I like the suspense! Sometimes it Pops in less than half the time,
sometimes not. It keeps you coming back to check.
<< <i>FYI - they have been working 6 or 7 days every week the past few weeks. >>
I understand they are busy...wish that worked with the customers at my job though.
My recent order was received march 25th and It was logged on april 10th. I feel a big part is because of the new baseball season. Overall I feel they have gotten better with slow logging. This is just a month I think they will be slammed with cards.
hang in there
<< <i>I too sent a 10 day package with two orders inside (marked clearly on the outside, all sides) which arrived Monday, not yet logged. I was hoping to have seen it by now, but I can wait... >>
Rec'd 4/7, logged today 4/17. On a 10 day sub, will update.

Ditto, mine was received on the 7th, logged on the 17th as well on a 10 day sub.
Also have a bulk sub on day 37 after logging as well. Maybe I'll get lucky, and they all will pop next week?
<< <i>We've all been there. My latest sub arrived 4/2 and has yet to be logged in. >>
My 4/2 arrival was logged yesterday 4/17. They are tacking longer than usual.

The long waits for logging have been going on for 2-3 years now. Before that it was super fast. It's very surprising that PSA hasn't addressed this already by hiring more people.

Similarly, I have a bulk sub in process. It logged 3/7 for 43 cards. I'm excited to see the grades on this submission but not holding my breath yet since it hasn't hit 50 days. When I talked to customer service it sounded like grades were in the system as I was calling to confirm no qualifiers and they said a few had in fact gotten qualifiers (expected this, OC) and they'd have to place a hold on the order to correct it.
I sent a 5 card re-holder along with the 10 day sub, that logged yesterday. It too was logged 4/17. My only desire for this one is that it is completed in time for me to get a set award for this year, so anytime before 5/30 is good by me.
