A sign of spring, then a sign of winter

Yesterday on my way home from work, I took back roads and passed an elderly gentleman out swinging his detector at the edge of a gravel parking lot. I think it was a church or an older preschool. He had headphones and knee pads, so he looked like a MD-ing vet image.

Then later I noticed on weather.com they are calling for 3-5 inches of snow here Sun night into Mon morning. Ugh, I guess it's going to be a white St. Patty's Day instead of a green one image. We've had a very snowy winter here, can't wait for old man winter to shove off.

    went out for a walk yesterday (a windy day to here) and got $20 from the snow bank. keep an open eye all image

    it was -11 this morning. Yep, spring's right around the corner

    We received more snow than the forecast called for, about 7-8". My metal detector is sound asleep for some time to come, it would seem.
