cast silver bullets - maybe copper

tneigtneig Posts: 1,505 ✭✭✭
I bought the silver 45s. But now sure how much silver I want in this form, especially since them make many different calibers now.

So I found the copper equivalent on ebay. I order my copper from this guy if you were to ask.

Silver bullets are cool. One is probably not enough. Four is too many.

I have been meaning to get a few silver bullets... had some and cannot find them. Must have been misplaced in my last move. Cheers, RickO

I may have more of the ones that go bang then I have of any silver count, so I'm trying to catch up!

I've seen the silver cartridges for sale but I've never seen silver bullets for sale which are the projectile component of the cartridge.

Actually the bullet is there, just that the cartridge is included. Firmly attached I might add.
Witty sig line currently under construction. Thank you for your patience.

GRANDAM, you have fully functional .45 silver bullets? I had only seen the silver cast cartridge (bullet & case - solid). Where did you find those? Cheers, RickO

I'd like to see this "clip". I've seen plenty of Colt 45 magazines but I've never seen a Colt 45 clip. image

  • Bought a few of them to keep as collectibles ........ Saw them online and thought they were cool! Dont know if they are functional or not but i never had any intention to shoot them anyway! Love em ......

I was thinking about machining a silver core with a cast copper jacket. A functional loadable round.

Novelty item, probably wouldn't be very accurate.

Cool, but don't shoot it. If it can't compress in the rifling or the mass is too different it can detonate.
I do want to see if any of these fit.

Right now it would appear that the all Silver variant .22's would be easier to come by than the traditional lead bullet with brass casing variety.

Last gun show had 500 round boxes of standard CCI selling for $65.00
