Thank You very much for bringing this point to my attention, like most others, I will also be figuring out how to turn my phone gps off too!
Go to Settings Go to Privacy Go to Location Services Turn off either ALL location services or select each individual service to turn off (such as Camera, Facebook, Maps, etc). Go back to Privacy Go to Photos Turn off the apps that have requested access to your photo info.
