"New"wheat pennies in circulation ??

I went to the bank the other day and got a box of pennies for my usual coin roll hunt.

In this particular box, there were two enders, I opened them first. The next 22 rolls, nothing at all, or so it seemed. On the 23rd roll, most of the pennies were new looking, luckily, a pair of wheat ears was showing, and it was a brand new 1956D. I got almost a rolls worth of wheats from that box, several from the 50's, in brand new condition. Also in the box was multiple 1960 to 63 memorials in new condition (including a 1960D small date).

Not a bad hunt after all.
