So where's the Forum revamp predicted around the first of the year? Any word?

been dreaming of this one for YEARS!

with most other forums i've been a member of (non-numismatic), either the thread was highlighted, there was a notification of how many and which threads had been posted to since i last clicked it etc.

sure made follow-up and thorough conversations much better.

How is that different from subscribing to the thread (which I always forget to do)?

I've never used it. Always thought is was too bulky by notifying you by email. Not THAT important.

Be nice if you had a little notice icon like (I hate to say it) Facebook.

Good question, thought about this last week.... have not seen any sign of it yet, beyond the occasional down time (which, I assumed, was for testing purposes - ICBW).... Cheers, RickO

Not wishing for it. Like I said, just curious.

I vigorously avoid any changes which has likely been detrimental overall.

Seemed like some had inside info back when it was first discussed.
