In the blog, why did they choose 2008 as an example of what JPMs trading "should look like"? Who is this blogger who decides how or when someone or something should make money? And why use the most volatile year in generations as the basis of the argument? Typical.

So true. If not for the creation of organized religion gold would have very little value.

Awe, c'mon! Gold is beautiful and useful and just neat. And so are silver and gemstones and pearls and furs.
Gold is certainly something... it's just not everything.
