I got the Cracker Jack, who has the beer?????

Hey guys,

Picked up my first Cracker Jack. The front is almost perfect. Only problem is a little paper loss on the back. Couldn't be any happier with the card.

Nice pick-up! Given that I look at the fronts of my cards at least 99 percent of the time, I am a fan of going the rear paper-loss route on prewar cards. Bang for the buck. Really nice eye appeal on that one.
Always buying 1971 OPC Baseball packs.

The front has great eye appeal. Very well done.

Thanks everyone. I always liked this set and trying to focus on my T206 collection but just couldn't let this one pass me by. Now back to my T206's. image

  • I have a Federal League Cracker Jack as well. Definitely no where near that condition, but a cool conversation piece. Congrats!

Mark - I took the plunge, too. I picked this one up in January as a belated x-mas gift to myself.

    Nice card, Mark!

Even better, this is also a rare variation card--with the Pittsburgh Pirates being referred to as the Pittsburgh Federals...

Mark, What's the deal with you buying a Pirate for your first Cracker Jack card? I guess you're finally realizing who's the better team. image Fantastic pickup!!!
