Eyeballed a SBA today

The snow is melting here and I was taking an aluminum can walk. Though I found a nice shiny quarter. When I picked it up it was a SBA. It's been many moons since I found a roadkill SBA.

wow, SBAs are pretty scarce. I can only remember finding one of them in the past 5 detecting seasons. What date? If '79, check for the wide rim (near date). Worth a couple extra dollars.

Do not forget the plow drifts.... especially in mall or market parking lots.... once they start melting, all sorts of goodies show up. Cheers, RickO

That's an unusual find, for sure.

I've detected one Sacagawea, but have never found a Suzie, either by eyeball or by detector.
