The true 75's with the correct header, must be drying up, haven't seen very many on here lately.

With the prices they are drawling I would expect much more down the road.

Don't worry, he put that they are "post production pack" in the fine print at the bottom. My question is whether Topps can go after him for trademark infringement or the like by using those homemade header cards. Just go the Christmas rack route like the rest of the scammers out there.

Horrible. The funniest part is the "possible Ryan,Yount, Brett" in the description. Right - I'm sure he buried some great star cards in there when making these.
Always buying 1971 OPC Baseball packs.

Mike, that is a great point...I am sure Topps is aware of these.

Yeah, the one not being sold by the same seller of all the other knockoffs. Of course, that one is at an inflated BIN, but who knows the way the market has been lately.

I'm on my phone right now, but I'll report these items to eBay once I get home for whatever that is worth.

Just reported this seller. Let's see if eBay isn't too busy screwing their good sellers to take care of this guy's knockoffs.

I noticed this auction too. I will report him, as well. The disclaimer is a joke!

Who show just one cell of a rack pack in their auction and not the whole thing??

Those are his star rack auctions. He has regular ones with a chance to pull a Brett, Yount, etc.

Are all the cards different? Looks like he bought one set and sealed it all up. He has one pack each of all the major stars.

Which one? I see two 75 "racks" with Brock on top, both of which are not authentic.

I know both racks are not authentic. I just noticed that the "first" Brock looked pretty sweet.

  • I wonder where this seller is located. There was a guy in PA selling tons of this crap over the years.

Yup, it was paoutdoorsman. I believe his name was Hooper. He was on trial at one point; not sure how it turned out but I seem to recall he was sentenced to a prison term.

  • Does Topps actively go after someone like this who makes fake rack packs? Or counterfeit cards?

Cards in those racks are out of sequence and mixed in all the wrong sections. I would avoid.

I didn't think there was a sequence to 76 racks?
