Would this be considered a strong price?

It stayed at around a hundred then took off near the end. I hope somebody can let us know if was a steal or a good price or what.

I'm thinking they went a bit high.

No doubt whoever bought them is hoping to find some high grade commons/semi-stars, but I'm thinking these sheets are a little more beat up than the seller advertised.

Psychump, looks like you were the underbidder on all three; that sucks!!!image

Considering two of the three that were in the rea lot had missing cards (one sheet was missing two cards and one was missing one card) I think the winning bidder of the three on ebay got a great deal. As soon as I saw the winning bid price of the one that psychump linked I thought that was a great price for that sheet, then I saw the other two the seller sold which sold for like $300 less apiece and I thought the guy who won them (he won all three) really lucked out; wish I saw them before they ended!!!

I tried to get in at $500 per sheet, which is what they were worth to me as display pieces. Maybe a little more if I were flush with cash. Sheet values are relatively subjective. I am a big fan, but in the minority. I bought many of my favorite players/years on uncut sheets before anything else (1971, Murray, Molitor, Ozzie, Ripken, 1983 Topps, Griffey UD).

The REA prices may have been a one-off. Other auctions houses regularly have sheets for sale and I don't often see pricing that approaches last year's REA fall price.
