Snowed In-To open or not

I live in SC. Have snow and ice. Pretty much shut down until Saturday. In the closet I have 1981 thru 1985 baseball boxes and 1982 and 1983 football boxes. Should I accept the boredom and resist ripping? If I rip what should I rip? To rip or not to rip, that is the question.

    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Rip the '85 baseball then read a book. Preferably The Victory Season, the best sports book I have read in a while.

  • You gotta at least rip one of those - you can go slow with it - The cards you don't like you can use them like little voodoo dolls and stick pins in them - then burn them on the stove image

Since you just have the two football I'd go for those and leave your baseball run in tact to build on

Greenville, but the whole state is getting either ice or snow. So far, I am holding out but tomorrow is another day.

Wow, I used to hang out in Greenville back when I was in college. I can't imagine how they are reacting to a snow storm. That must be a nightmare...if you make it to Columbia any time soon, have a Rush's shake for me...

I will be in Cola soon, though my game plan will not include a Rush's shake. I will be drinking green beer and sobering up on a good hamburger at Yesterdays if all goes as planned. If things do not go as planned, I will be downing shot after shot then dancing with Lola at the Art Bar.
  • Here in Marietta, Ga we've been snowed in since yesterday (Wednesday). I'm suppose to be driving to Jacksonville, Fl for our softball spring training but the roads may not be drivable until later in the day.

How much snow did you guys get that your shut down for two days? Also, I'd say rip the 85.
  • Is this stuff ripped yet?

OK, by popular demand I ripped the '85 BB box. Star cards were nice but probably nothing over an 8 due to centering, maybe a 9 or 2. Cards overall were very nice with sharp corners. Now I have that why did you do that feeling LOL!! The answer of course was because it was fun!!

A few years ago, I ripped two dozen racks (maybe more)...I'm about 60 cards from the set, so rip away and I'll take some doubles (and can offer you my doubles)
