I just sent out 20 packs.

Does Steve go to PSA or does PSA ship the cards to him?

Typically the latter. Pack subs are taking at least 60i business days in recent months.

I found this website that calculates business days. Easier than looking at the calendar. I'm currently at 56 business days. Fun.

Has there ever been a pack-grading special of the month? I've been waiting to submit some until one comes around since I'm not in a hurry with them, but am also wondering if waiting is pointless if they only do card specials and not pack specials.

Yes, they had an incredible special last Spring I believe of ONLY $12/packimage

Maybe the 19th of November will bring us luck as I also had one entered that day.l

I know everyone has to wait their turn, but this is over three calendar months for me now. For a two item submission. At what point do I contact customer service and start asking questions?

I sent a message asking about my submission on the 66th business day (2/26) and received popage today. Coincidence? Also, got a no grade on a 1980 wax pack. I got the pack at The National from the BBCE booth. Doesn't Steve do the pack grading?

Steve authenticates packs, but does not grade them. A reason for the "no grade" is most likely because the gum is loose inside the pack. It was recently discussed in a different thread that PSA either has a new policy or is being more strict about not grading these packs.

I had 23 wax packs (out of 24) returned to me no grade--charge. I called PSA and was told they will no longer holder any pack in which gum is loose or broken in the pack due to the chronic issues of gum tearing wrappers in transit.

It was the one I bought from your Grote. Pretty excited to see it in the holder. Does the new gum rule for packs mean there is going to be a premium for any graded wax pack now? I can't imagine there are too many ungraded without some kind of gum problem.
