Thought I would post as a follow up to some of the item specific posts and share all additions to the core collection in the past few weeks. What you are not seeing is the weight shed in multiple lower grade/common pieces which were sold/traded towards these. This show and related auctions was a turning point for the collection in the sense that I really felt more confident and knowledgable to pursue this with vigor with the aim of elevating the collection to a higher level that honestly I never thought I would get to.
Pardon my poor images on some as well as scratched older slabs which are on their way to reholder and imaging.

ND. Archduke Ferdinand (1564-95) Double Taler. Ensisheim mint, DAV-8093. M/T-574. Obv: Crowned and armored bust right. Rev: Crowned coat-of-arms within Order of the Golden Fleece. Very tough piece to find as nice. NGC AU-55.
1569. Salzburg. Johann Jakob Khuen von Belasi (1560-1586) Reichsguldiner. 40mm. 24.68g. Popken, Salzburg 1041 var. Probszt 575. Very scarce early type seldom found in such condition. Comes in a much cruder form compared with 17-18th century types. Mint luster still visible under toning. NGC MS-65.
1693. Leopold I (1657-1705) "The Hogmouth" Taler. Hall Mint. DAV-3243. KM-1303.2. Scarcer date. Deeply toned with flashes of russet and magenta, a most appealing example of this classic Austrian Taler. Rare in this superior grade. NGC MS-64.
1695. Salzburg. Johann Ernst von Thun und Hohenstein (1687-1709) Half Taler. Probst 1878. KM-253. Saints Rupert and Virgil are pictured. A marvelous specimen with a needle sharp strike. The finest example of this type one might expect to find. NGC MS-66.
1724. Charles VI (1711-1740) Taler. DAV-1054. KM-693. Tyrol, Hall Mint. Phenomenal piece, nicely toned with great detail and underlying luster. Scarce in such grade. NGC MS-64.

1729. Charles VI (1711-1740) Taler. DAV-1054. Tyrol, Hall Mint. Thinner bust. Beautifully toned with underlying luster. Choice piece. NGC MS-63.
1733. Charles VI (1711-1740) Taler. DAV-1055. Tyrol, Hall Mint. Deep toning rich with luster. Superb piece for the type. NGC MS-64.
1733. Charles VI (1711-1740) 1/2 Taler. Tyrol. Hall Mint. Herinek-486. M/T-837. Deeply toned fractional Taler uncommon in such mint state condition.Luster under dark cabinet. NGC MS-64.
1740. Charles VI (1711-1740) 1/4 Taler. KM-1666. Tirol. Hall Mint. Superb coin. Lovely honey like toning over visible luster. NGC MS-63.
1744. Maria Theresia (1740-1780) 1/4 Taler. Hall Mint. Herinek 746. Eyp. 17. M/T-921. KM-740. The finest specimen I have seen for this type. Rich bluish toning and patina with full luster intact. Beautiful. PCGS MS-63.

1761. AUSTRIA. Khevenhüller-Metsch Family. Johann Joseph Fürst von Khevenhüller-Metsch (1706-1776) Taler. 42mm. 28.06g. Vienna Mint. DAV-1188. Holzmair-41. NGC MS-62PL. Toned. Very scarce with a mere mintage of 200.
1763. Hungary. Maria Theresia (1740-1780) Taler. Kremnitz Mint. DAV-1132. Obv: Empress bust. Rev: Madonna with Child in her left hand on the crescent moon in the glory, below crest. Scarcer type with superb quality given the state of the Madonna on the reverse which generally comes worn. Tradions of rubbing on the Madonna for luck has led to fewer surviving in such mint state conditions. On its way from NGC graded MS-63.
1788. Austria. Noble House of Batthyány. Ludwig Batthyány-Strattmann (1788-1806) Convention Taler. One year type. Vienna Mint. DAV-1184. Holzmair 17. Obv: Laureate bust of Emperor to right. Rev: The two winged horses underpinning oval arms. Light cabinet wear on high points depriving this coins from mint state grading. On its way from NGC graded AU-58.
1789. Austria. Noble House of Batthyány. Ludwig Batthyány-Strattmann (1788-1806) Half Convention Taler. Vienna Mint. Holzmair 18. KM-10. Uncommon piece, especially in such high grade. This has PL all over it and was conservatively graded. Probably the finest of this type. NGC MS-64.
1790. Austrian Netherlands. Belgium Insurrection. Florin. Brussels Mint. Mintage: 15,000. KM-48. Obverse: Lion rampant r., DOMINI EST REGNVM, the Kingdom is God's. Reverse: Hands grasp a bundle of 11 arrows representing 11 provinces: East Flanders, West Flanders, Brabant, Hainault, Tournai, Namur, Luxembourg, Liège, Limburg, Antwerp and Mechelen. KM 48. Struck during the revolution against Emperor Joseph II's anti-clerical innovations in the church. A stunner and finest known. PCGS MS-67.
1844-A. Emperor Ferdinand I (1835-1848) Thaler. Lower Austria, Vienna Mint. DAV-14. Exceptional prooflike specimen, colorful toning and details with a stunning reverse. Very scarce in GEM quality. NGC MS-65.
1855-A. Emperor of Austria Franz Joseph (1848-1916) Thaler. Lower Austria, Vienna Mint. DAV-17. Spectacular specimen with lusterous prooflike surfaces likely a result of a very early strike, Seldom found this nice in GEM condition. On its way from NGC graded MS-65.
