Greeting All .......
I spent the day at the FUN show Friday. First ... BIG show. Lots of folks .. WOW.
OK .... LOTS of SILVER!!
Compared to many other big shows of the last few years. Lots of new bars.
NTR, Republic, OPM. Very little Engelhard or JM, other than new JM 1 oz. bars. Lots of generic 1oz rounds.
There had to be at least 6 major PM firms.
1 oz generics ..... new .... all you wanted .... spot +.75 - .90
10 oz generics .... new in plastic ... all you wanted .... spot + .75 - 1.00
100 oz generic ..... new ....... spot + .65 .... actually ... after seeing so much 1 & 10 oz ... I expected more 100s.
100 oz Engelhard ....... just a few at spot + 1.50
1000 oz ......... 1 ....... the bar at Gainesville's table. Great paper weight!
Circ $s ........ Not a lot ....but enough to break most of us .... $27@
90% ...... again, not a lot .... but what I saw was around 15x
I forget the name but the little poured 1, 2, 3, & 4 oz silver bars with the crossed picks[?] were around $26 - $27 oz.
A different silver bullet .45 1 oz. [ not NWTM ] was on the floor at $25@
Silver Eagles ........ Silver Eagles were selling for spot +2.50 +/- .... now that is below dealer cost ... so why?
1..... Spot jumped up Friday ... giving the dealers a bit of room to sell low and look good.
2.... The 2014s are NOT out .... but delivery will start in about a week ... so most dealers want to move the non-14s.
I did see 1 old JM die struck 5 oz bar ..... spot + $70.00 yes ... I said $70.
1 oz. Ausi horse rounds at $39@
Gold ... Platinum ... Palladium .... Never gave it a thought .....
Lots of folks .... buying small amounts silver ....... every one surprised at the jump up.
