Didn't you recently have an issue with eBay? Someone dinged your stars or something like that?

People ding stars all the time....maybe they are pissed because I know how to figure out something that is SUPPOSED to be anonymous.

That's right. Sorry, I couldn't find the thread.

Yeah, bet that's the case and they'll claim you violated a TOS. It's most likely temporary, so just ride it out and move on.

The restriction, as I understand it, applies ONLY to 1968 Milton Bradley Nolan Ryan Rookie cards, so you should be fine..

    Yes, been there.

If the restriction is temporary, you'll be fine. If permanent, plan to create another account for selling.

    Thanks,

I listed a bunch of items in December and received a warning that I was near my selling limit and could be restricted soon, but I never hit that limit. It was obviously tied to historical sales in my case.
Always buying 1971 OPC Baseball packs.
  • What are the selling restrictions that were placed on your account?

Check your Seller Dashboard to see if your low ratings (1's and 2's) percentages are too high.

This could be from your recent star dinger. Ebay evaluates your performance standards once a month. You probably just had your monthly evaluation.

Yeah I had a restriction for a few months.
I let my son use my account to sell some electronics. He had a couple issues with ridiculous buyers.
So they restricted my account to a selling limit of 35 items/month.
Nevermind the fact that I've been on eBay since 1998, have over 7000 transactions and a FB rating over 3500.
I guess those two cases represented .6% of my transactions and it has to be .35% or lower.
When I was speaking to the eBay rep in Bombay about it, I asked her how am I supposed to lower that ratio if you're limiting the number I can sell? She didn't have an answer for that

If I am successful, I'll have your account terminated shortly.
  • I haven't had that. I think ebay places selling restrictions when too many cases are opened against you or you get dinged a few too many times.

Then you are a fool. I am one of only a small handful of sellers who runs true 99 cent auctions. If I go, then that leaves one less 99 cent auctioneer and more overblown, sky high BIN sellers (which I am guessing describes you to a T)......

The first step is admitting that you have a problem.
  • Bobby, you have indicated many times that you're upset that people on the forum keep criticizing/trolling/needling you- whatever you want to call it. Do you realize that a lot of the reason it happens so often is that you give the 'antagonistic' person a response 100% of the time?

If you aren't happy about the way you're being treated, try something different and see if it works. Stop swinging at every single pitch. Let a few go by.
If you don't like the results, you can always go back to what you're doing now.

I don't buy or sell cardboard. I actually sold it all for a large profit, and now spend my money on more important things. Very much like, in fact, how I have more important things to do than whine and moan about people that express their lack of satisfaction on eBay transactions with you.

If that is true, then why are you hanging around a cardboard forum? You are belittling the very people who frequent this board.

Is there a forum for more important things that you can go to?

Not nearly as much as when he shills his cards on other auctions and still loses.

Because my collection, what is left, is complete as is. I enjoy seeing the acquisitions of other collectors- thank you so much for your concern.

I also come here hoping to see someone have a mental breakdown, a rat get outed, or other exciting things!

Don't forget donating items, buying them back, and crying that he only lost a certain amount.
