An unofficial opening of Cuds-on-coins.com

To open up the New Year right, here is an unofficial opening of Cuds-on-coins.com. This will be a "working" numismatic coin site, with continued up-dates, added information and corrections. Inputs are always welcome. If you do have any coin in the listed categories and it is not on the site, I would be interested in hearing from you. Fred Weinberg and I will still be officially opening the site at the FUN show, noon on Saturday the 11th, 2014.

Your new website looks very interesting, and is a welcome resource for the numismatic community. However, I was somewhat surprised to see that there is no place on your site for my favorite cuds: those on half dimes. You include virtually all other series, but no half dimes. I'm sure you will work to correct this unfortunate oversight. I can help you to list some of the more significant known cuds on half dimes.

This HTT has large obverse rim cud which I'll have to crack out of the slab to really photograph.

    1834 William H. Milton, Boston, Massachusetts, HT-164/ Low-266.

On this HTT variety the die sinker was spelling challenged....

The the name of the hall Milton rented space in to run his clothing business is spelled differently on the obverse/reverse.
