For Auld Lang Syne....

Happy new years all. May 2014 be loving and prosperous for you and yours.

Auld Lang Syne was first documented in 1788 by Robert Burns but was, in it's elusive history, sung much much earlier in Scotland. Literally, Auld Lang Syne means days gone by or figuratively, For Auld Lang Syne, meaning "for old times sake."

So, in the spirit of looking forward to a new year and to "tak a cup of kindness yet, for Auld Lang Syne", what were your best moments in 2013 and a goal you hope/expect to accomplish in 2014?

For me, getting my new website up and running and resetting my roots in Louisiana rise up to be my fondest memories of 2013. Having my daughter in my arms with my wife and two boys around me watching the ball drop in the countdown to 2014 will be a smile inspiring memory for the rest of my days.

I have several other websites in the works for 2014 and my dream goal of opening a small restaurant in my town will be on my mind.

Interesting about Auld Lang Syne... My best moment was our daughter having our second Grandson... Picked up some cool coins and purchased a future retirement home would be a few other cool moments for 2013...
For the new year just want to keep doing the right stuff, eating healthy, and spending lots of quality time with my family... Also collecting a few more monster toners wouldn`t hurt my feelings either... image

A very happy and healthy New Year to you and your family Brandon.... ABimage

I made a decision to once again leave Manufacturing/Industrial work behind and work in Coins with the local dealer in August. as for coin purchases, I made several but none that really stand out above the rest.
