The Overton 4th edition states in the grading section that at the level of VF30 no mint luster remains....
Brian, not sure I would send it back in right away. They may be in a very conservative grading mode right now. Waiting may give you a better shot. Though it is all subjective and you may get different graders anyway....
Problem is when the toning covering all surfaces it makes the wear stand out even if it is not as much as it looks...
She flirts with 40 particularly the reverse. The surfaces seem quite nice. Nothing I can see worthy of a 5 pt deduction for a coin that saw decent duty in commerce. Prompts me to suspect that they simply saw the obv as a 30 and weren't going to bias the grade for a strong reverse.

They may be temporarily "grade blind" after viewing all of those flashy Pogue stunners.
Anything else looks like blech.
