Ebay Case Advice: Buyer claims package received with card missing!

    So, if USPS insurance or Ebay's insurance had been purchased, what would have happened?

    That was expected. You can't prove he is lying so they are going to protect the buyer.

    That's an error I would call them. Unless they paid for it themselves. But fore sure call them

    What is the error?? Unless I missed something, there is no proof that the buyers claim is fabricated. It's unfortunate for the seller, but you can't just put the onus on the buyer if a package is damaged during transit. That's what insurance is for. Also, if you use priority mail, the first $50 of insurance is free.
