I'm in the process of moving overseas so over the next few weeks I will be listing a few of my rare gold $2.5's and $5's which could use a good home while I am gone for the next few years.
Offered is an 1842-d $2.5 in a PCGS XF40 holder. This was previously housed in a N45 CAC holder (pictured) and the coin has not yet been back to CAC. This is a very rare coin with under 100 believe extant per PCGS Coinfacts. If unsold it will head to NJ in the next few days.
Great dirty gold, exactly what one would expect from an original Dahlonega $2.5. $5,500.
