Black Friday excluded at coin shops?

Hi guy's, Is it just me or you just DON'T see any " Black Friday" deals at any coin shops? I know, the most shops that we frequent give us great deals already,but why don't you see any( or no ) signs advertising any of these holiday deals? Oh well, just thinking out loud. -joeyimage

    A few years ago I busted into my favorite coin shop and announced that I was there for the Black Friday 2 for 1 Morgan special.

    "If I say something in the woods and my wife isn't there to hear it.....am I still wrong?"

    Unless a coin dealer could get stuff at half price from the mint, there isn't much worth having that would even be amenable to such a sale.

    Since most of these Black Friday deals are for products made in China, I guess all a coin shop could advertise would be Chinese counterfeits.... image Cheers, RickO

    Black Friday at a B&M is when they offer you 75% of Bluesheet for your eye appealing PCGS type coins instead of the normal 65%.

    I just purchased this on a Black Friday special that Northeast Numismatics is running today. You get 8% off any inventory (hey, better than $0).

    If anyone is interested, the promo code is "FRIDAY" without the quotes. There are no other requirements (e.g. you don't have to be a previous customer or anything). I happen to be one so I received an e-mail from them last night.

    This is a PERFECT addition to my CC type set. Also an interesting story behind the coin...it was graded and slabbed in Paris.

    Lots of proof and mint sets out there that no one wants at 50% of bid. That's 2 for the price of 1. Play your cards right and you can chisel for quantity purchases by using the angle that the dealer not only clears out dead wood, but also saves on shipping. . image

    No, but Uncle Milton is having a 50% off sale for Black Friday. I pretty sure you can score an Ant Farm or some other cool stuff!!!
    The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
