I won't do that since the box is being piece mealed and not a complete original box from a case. It is just kind of fun to do since I sold a good bunch to Tim a long time ago to fund another purchase. Now its been more a chase and rebuild thing that I display. Just something to do I guess....
Got mine today. I got a bunch of junk wax from 87-90, but I was really surprised at how beat up most of the boxes were, except my 89 Upper Deck (which is super nice). I planned on ripping one box of 87 Topps and another of 87 Donruss, but maybe it's easier to just rip it all and get more someday. Is that common for those years to be kinda trashed?
Not an end of the world complaint, as I love BBCE and the boxes were all really cheap, just hoped to display them with the rest of my run. Kinda bummed, but I'll get over it.

I made a big purchase of 1-2 packs from basically every make and year from 1980-1985. Unfortunately I did not get 83 Donruss wax packs, 82 Donruss wax rack pack, and a 1985 Topps Cello box. Really disappointed about the 85 Cello box but im excited to get my package, should be tomorrow!

Congratulations on the box. You beat me to it I went to add it to my cart and it said sold out, so you may have got the last one (or definitely one of the last ones). I also got left out on the 83 Fleer Cello box and the 85 Leaf BB box. I guess it's just as well as I went over budget anyway. I will post my orders when they arrive. Steve

Long (mundane) story short, I attended the same university as an undergrad and have met him a couple of times as a result. Once I dove into the nutty world of unopened, the natural progression was a little ancillary project involving him. To this point I have a grand total of three items with him on front -- a '79 rack, an '80 super cello and an '81 rack. Much, much tougher than I anticipated. In fact, I'm starting to get so desperate that I'm contemplating a message to bruingirl to see if she can make one for me.

Thanks for the replies. Well now I am a little bummed. I wonder why mine was missing that labeling? That is one of the reasons I chose to order that box as I am 99% sure I remember the listing specifically saying the boxes would be marked as such. I hate to pester them about it. I will probably email them and ask what happened to my box. Any suggestions on a solution I might propose?
I wish. I didn't get that detail though. Just that there will be a sale, which isn't a huge surprise, but was nice to get confirmation so I know I'll have to wake up with the East Coasters if I wanna play.
52-90 All Sports, Mostly Topps, Mostly HOF, and some assorted wax.

These boxes meant a lot to me at that age. I had to work for my cards and it was tough to ever get a full box.
I was around 13-15 and was one of the few kids still collecting.
Also, bought a 1989 UD and a 1987 Donruss. I enjoy opening and the 1987 Donruss satisfy my urge.
I stand the Topps Wax boxes up so BBCE was nice enough to seal those two junk boxes for me.
