COIN BOARD IS SLOW IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE
Whether the problem is the IE browser or some technical glitch, it is obvious that until PCGS fixes the problem the number of posters and the number of viewers to the Coin Forum will be WAY down. Maybe we should all take a Thanksgiving vacation and come back on Black Friday to see if things are back to normal. Hope the IT guys can fix the problem soon. At least keep us advised. Thanks.

It does appear that some folks are having varied degrees of success following recommendations others have mentioned.
With so many different computer setups it's hard to predict what might work.
Once it's fixed or people find a workable solution, the crowds will return.

As it so happens, I have FireFox with AD Blocker Plus installed (for my FaceBook Adventures) and the forums are working just fine.
This tells me that there is something wrong with the ads PCGS is supporting when posters use IE 10. At least, thats the IE Version I have installed.
Of course, this is a very tyouchy subject since it has already been stated by Mr. Willis that anybody found using an AD Blocker will be banned.
I do not want to get banned but if using my current Firefox Installation is the only way to access and post, then I guess I'll have to use it until PCGS gets off their hiney's and gets this problem fixed since I don't really mind the ads.

Did not want to create a post, so as not to further bog things down.
Have not changed any of my IE settings, etc.
Something happened, and it wasn't any change in my system/browser/planetary alignment.

Same here. Extremely slow for a few days and then working fine. They obviously fixed something on their end.

Me too. Possibly it was a server issue or a content loading conflict.
definitely was not the ISP or something else on the internet!

<< <i>Problem seems to be fixed. No more latency and correct rendering. >>
Smooth as silk for me, however, I DO get those 'secure content' pop ups more frequently than not. I don't mind having those pop ups, as it sure beats the hell out of a good rendering!
As an aside, when something goes wrong ATS, I don't believe much is said here, but due to the good 'rendering' I wanted to avoid, I snuck up ATS, and noticed a thread about here. I don't see the same when/if something goes wrong over there. I noticed something, though, having to go there (then to CT to get a chuckle. It's apparent this place ranks #1 in coin forums, then (#2) ATS, then it's a clusterflock for 3rd, 4th, and so on (as far as popularity goes).
So, I guess it begs the question....
If/when the forums go down for an extended period of time, where do you go to get your 'fix'? Is it another coin forum, or do you just 'check out' of coins till our host gets the problem solved (or finishes their updates, or any number of problems that can/do happen, or something that is scheduled by the IT dept)?
