Any Coin with any Color is "Rainbow" Now.......

Almost any coin with some old tone or even not is "Crusty." Don't matter if it's dipped and re-toned, barely brown etc. Always "Crusty" now. Dealers, collectors whatever stop the nonsense. Of course the dealers see folks on here describing anything crusty so they are just giving you a description that will make you happy with impostors.
OK, all done for now.

Now? Sellers have been taking liberties with the term "rainbow" for as long as I've been back in the hobby
(going on 15 years).

Agreed. I really meant NOW it's "crusty." Or for a few years but getting more widespread. I think collectors have their heart in the right place, but I blame the collectors. The dealers are just describing what they wanna hear.
