Does anyone know when they began slabbing and when they stopped?

    The company was founded in 1986 the same year as PCGS. The founder's name was Louis Revels. He used a rectangular slab (similar to ACG at the time) until Hallmark folded and he bought their slabbing material. The company was in business till the 4th owner, Brian Beardsley, died in 2007. The company was then auctioned off and was bought by David Lawerence Coins. They renamed the company DGS (Dominion Grading Service) and was in business for about 2 years.

    DGS was a great service and some real gems can be found oftentimes at a discount.

    I saw two of those slabs at coin shows when I lived in Seattle..... I believe both were at the PNW show....Cheers, RickO
