<< <i>Are they MS67 or 68 ? They are absolutely stunning. So breathtakingly beautiful. >>
Well, I'd guess maybe a little lower, since there are no 27-D or 27-S coins higher than MS66.
I'd love to know the grades though. The photography technique makes it a little hard for me to guess. They both look very nice!
Sadly, the issue is that I HAVE no technique(s) I have my Dino-lite and some Ikea lamps and ambition to take good images but there is where it ends. Settings are all default and I have scaled back the lighting to deal with the exposure but not sure what else to do.
Started on the Peace set 9 years ago with a 1923 in MS65. Still have the 24-s and 25-s left to go. I started my Franklin FBL set 10-11 years ago and just finished that up this week. Still have the 53-s sans FBL as many sets do, but have the rest. Room for improvements too as it is at 32 in the Registry currently. I started both sets out spending no more than $100 a coin back in the day.
Thanks. It is nice to have people to chat about them with. The wife just glazes over like I do when she talks fashion. The 24-s and 25-s will take some heavy lifting. I have decided to complet the set before upgrading my early purchases....so frustrating because many would be quit easy to improve.
I love your set by the way. Rinkor and Shapiro have made some decent money off me too! :-)
Congratulations on these new aquisitions! They are stunning and the luster is amazing.. You're clearly in no rush to complete these sets. I'm sure your patience will be rewarded with coins that don't haunt you with regrets and a super eye appealing set as company. Amazing luster,

<< <i>One of the most lustrous 27-D's I have seen. Seen more than a few that were dull dull dull. >>
Thanks, and agreed. I paid a premium to get the luster. I doubt I will regret doing so either. In hand it makes you smile.
