Mis-aligned Dies and Partial Collar. Half of the edge toward the reverse is reeded with the other half plain. This type of error is sometimes called a railroad rim.
This one may have been struck on a panama 10 centesimos planchet. Whether yours was struck on a planchet intended for a dime or a 10 centesimos planchet, the world may never know.
Here are some cool bust half errors that came across my desk in June. Not mine but I thought I'd share them. The last one is a modern counterfeit error. LOL. What'll they think of next? Lance.
Here's a Dahlonega half eagle with a "medal turn" (instead of the normal "coin turn"). The piece is from a fixed price list of the North Georgia collection [Leon Farmer] Charlotte and Dahlonega coins, not to be confused with the subsequent Heritage 1999 FUN Auction of that collection. A number of pieces were sold in the summer of 1998 via private treaty (prior to the larger Heritage FUN Auction offering). The images are courtesy of BluCC Photos.

The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

ALL truly outstanding examples. Especially like the Die Cap Barber coinage,Clips, and Charmys' IHC. Living in an imperfect (coin) world does have it's advantages.
