eBay member to block - leaves bad feedback for metals/coins

He's left negative feedback for almost everyone he bought from. I just had a negative feedback removed because he "overpaid" on an auction I started at $0.01. It was my first neutral feedback in 10 years. eBay actually did something helpful for once.

Blocked, and this guy is a perfect example of why sellers should not leave positive feedback until the buyer has left feedback first.

and what would that accomplish? As a buyer, "don't hold your breath" waiting for me to leave fb first, it ain't gonna happen. I've done my end of the contract by paying the seller and now it's up to the seller to finalize the contract. As much as you no longer can leave neg or neutral feedback to a buyer, it's a moot point. He seems to like APMEX...only pos fb he left

    BTW, blocked the scu_bag.

Sure you can leave bad feedback for a buyer, I just did. But, folks do have to read the feedback and
    not just rely on numbers.

I wonder if that person works for the only company he/she left positive feedback for. If so, I will not be doing business with that company again.

No way APMEX would have any use for a whack job like that.

    Nope.

    Not without some evidence.

My eBay no longer allows me to search by Bidder and I have no idea what jessewvu ebay account is.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

The guy bought a 2013 PCGS Reverse Proof PR70 coin from me on 27 Sept in a no reserve auction that started at $0.01. He paid $145 with free shipping and 14 day return policy. He waited over a month and a half to leave feedback and I assume he took all his recent buys to a "coin dealer". He left me a neutral saying I overcharged him by $30 and ripped him off. But you don't see his feedback for me there anymore image

<sarcasm>You must be mistaken. The customer is always right. I hear that here all the time. If you received negative feedback, it's clearly because you're one of those bad eBay sellers everybody knows about.</sarcasm>

If you want to avoid these problems as much as possible, avoid selling very low value items. I haven't sold on Ebay in years, but 99.9% of my problems came from sub-$20 transactions.

Yup you can. However, if your buyer contacts eBay, not only will your comment be removed, also a non compliance strike will be levied against you, which btw, takes 3 month to wear off. I know what I'm talking about...it happened to me. 3 strikes & you loose your 20% FVF discount, It's just not worth it.

I have news for ya dude, I don't hold my breath for feedback. In fact, if nobody ever left me feedback again, that would be just fine with me. The only thing I care about is avoiding negative feedback. And feedback is not part of any contract, it is completely voluntary. And my method ensures that I never leave positive feedback for a clown like the one we just both blocked.

eBay doesn't allow for a "negative positive" feedback and it will be removed (at the receiver's request) and sometimes the person leaving that feedback is sanctioned.

The name of religion is religion. There is only ONE and He doesn't sell on eBay. And there just might be a "211" in progress there.

Ebay has a policy now that helps with jerks like this guy.

Feedback from a buyer is removed or adjusted automatically in the following situations:

A buyer is suspended for behavior we find warrants removing all negative and neutral Feedback left for sellers. If any member is suspended within 90 days of registration, all Feedback left by that member is removed.

An eBay Buyer Protection case is decided in a seller's favor.

There's a Global Shipping Program error. We may also remove or adjust low ship cost or ship time detailed seller ratings.

A buyer has shown a pattern of leaving disproportionately high rates of low Feedback or low detailed seller ratings
