My finds of the day...for me a very good day

I had put my collecting activities on hold for while but was able to get out to a local show today. Lots of stuff piqued my interest but I ended up buying a few BU rolls, some 68-S cents, and some 1954_S and D rolls, 4 S rolls and 3 D rolls. They seem to have been put away some time back. They were not OBW but were wrapped in nickel rollers, then covered in plastic, then (3 out of 4) wrapped in masking tape.

I decided to open a couple of them. This is what I found in the 2 rolls I opened.....actually 12 of them so far, 5 in one roll and 7 in the other:

Not sure the pics will come up, but so far I have found 12 1954S/D BU Jeffs

Geez, all you gotta do know is to find one of those S/D's in FS, and blast off! Even a few MS65's would be, as T2 said, Payday! I never realized the price differentials from MS64, which if all 12 of yours were (hypothetically) MS64, it'd still be a nice payday. Even a 65+ is a nice score. Do these rolls appear circulated, or, is there a chance you might be able to hit a homer (at least a stand-up triple) if they are uncs? That first one posted seemed to be circulated, to my eyes, not AG/G circulated, but perhaps AU, or........how about a play-by-play after each coin???? lol
    I'll come up with something.

All are uncirculated, no FSimage and all probably 64ish or so. The pictured one is toned, which may make the picture as I cropped it look circulated. Will probably open the other 2 rolls tomorrow and post a better pic of the mintmark.

Heritage coin auctions has a roll of those 1954-S nickels up for sale.............all certified by NGC...........40 coins all graded by NGC as MS65's.

Amazing is it not? What are the odds? All Gem MS65's found in one single roll.

The more qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!
