    .
    nice one image

also i just about like those images better than some "professional" level ones due to that natural in-hand look. a few dark spots but very close.

Well above average strike for this date, with some nice thumb separation - like this image

PS - thanks for not making this a GTG coin.....saves me from grimacing from all the AUXX guesses coins like a 40S can generate.

Nice head and branch hand detail for a typically weakly struck issue.

    Very tidy right obverse field.

    Well done.
  • Beautiful coin

Beautiful Coin! When you say gem do you mean MS-65 or better? Just wondering...I have a problem grading this series.

Thank you for the compliment. Yes, I mean MS 65 exactly.

I was wondering the same thing. To be honest I am not sure and I will examine it closer. I'd say that it is barely noticeable in hand, so I wasn't too concerned about it. It is either a small ancient print or a residue/tone pattern.

Thanks all! I was looking at the coin today and I got one more surprise. It turns out that this coin is actually a PCGS 2 slab (used in Oct. and Nov. of 1989) per Conder101's info that he posted online. Very Cool! Only the second style of slab ever made by PCGS and the first one after the 'rattler'. It has the four pin points on the corners, the pixelated off-green label and no PCGS initials on the front but with a PCGS hologram on the back. It has sharp recessed edges. I am not really an avid vintage slab collector but I like them and can't help but think that these old slabs are SUPER COOL! This is my first Walker in an OGH and I'm liking it. image
