<< <i>~$16-1700 is my guess[/q
I paid $1350 from BBCE for a 87 Fleer Basketball box from a sealed case one year ago.

I paid $1,300 for THREE cases of 88 Fleer Basebetball wax many years ago....maybe they will catch up one day.

That's incredible. By the time I got into the business in 1989/1990, I was paying around $750 for 1987 and $1500-1800 for 1986.
Bobby, you have 3 cases of 88-89 Fleer Basketball with $1300 into it?
<< <i>Yea.......Bought them years ago from Huggins and Scott.......was slowwwwww to get rid of, but I kind of wish I still had them. I am down to about 10 packs left....I opened alot...... >>
You mean 3 boxes then. 88 Fleer has been $300-500 a box for a long time.
<< <i>I'd say $1400-1700 sounds right, depending on whether a couple or few people really want it. I used to deal with a fair amount of 1986 and 1987 Fleer wax back in the late 1980s/early 1990s. The 1987 wax was actually significantly more difficult to locate back then and is probably true today. A nice item that you don't see very often. Unfortunately there is a lack of rookie power. >>
Absolutely. 1986 kind of tanked and they cut back in production in 1987 is what I heard. It is definitely a harder box to find, unfortunately the demand just isn't there anymore. No rookies like you said and all those 2nd year cards just don't seem to have much demand outside of Jordan, and even that is minimal compared to the 86. It's such a nice looking set
