Careful, if you keep showing all of these sweet examples, other people might start collecting them too image

    Hey ambro,

Good pickup. In general terms the RR-21 is (IMHO) one of the most underrated varieties in the Vermont series.

You are not the only one who likes the dark brown with lighter brown toning on high points image. One of my favorite color combinations as well.

Hi Mike yes 21 is not rated (priced) up to its rarity. Have you seen many with this very early die state?

I have seen a few more than many think are probably known, but it is still much rarer then how it normally comes with the large die break forming from 6 o'clock on the reverse.

I would guess 1/4 of the total population are the early die state, but that probably only makes about 8-10 known in all grades!

Very nice copper.... (or VOC..image ).... I just like all the old copper.... guess it is the history... and since I live in an area that was part of colonial settlement and rich with the history, it is special to me. Cheers, RickO
  • Great example, congrats!

Thanks. Jeff Rock has amazing stuff. The coin exceeds Carlottos weight range at 126.6 grains.

Not a fan, but undeniable historical significance.

One of the nicest appealing coins (to my eye) that you have posted from your acquisitions.

The obverse looks slightly glossy. Is that the pic, or was it treated/preserved with something back in the day?

I do think it has had some "CARE". I'd like to find some of that, the original
