The final week I had my store front, Had a guy call and tell me he inherited a complete set of $20 gold pieces. Anyway, he brought them up for me to look at:
Complete lib and saint set in capitol plastic holder(s) minus only the 1854-o, 1856-o, 1870-cc, 1927-d . (obviously the 33)
Unbelievable, the 21 Saint in this set was as nice as I had ever seen, at least a 64 1/2 if not a 5. There were a few coins that were okay, but there were some mindblowers in the set.
He did not want to sell, apparently not only did he inherit this, but a ton of cash and property as well. So he was keeping them, but I reffered him to heritage if he ever thought about selling them to get the best price and that I would help him with the consignment.
I appraise the coins at 1.6 million, but told him that some of his coins were condition census and it could bring as much as 2 mill in auction.
in previous threads it has been explained that he is hearing impaired,
which makes it difficult to use language in the way that the rest of us are accustomed to.
(This is because there is an "aural" component to memory and the way that language is learned).

I was born without hearing my left ear and 50%+ loss in my right ear.
Not all persons with hearing impairment are afforded the same level of training, or have the capacity to acquire grammar skills in written language that is comparable to a person with even normal hearing. Comparing your personal experience to another with profound hearing impairment is a very simple form of discrimination. I have a retail customer who is profoundly hearing impaired, yet I carry conversations with him regularly, even though I consider myself the disadvantaged one because I have no training in American Sign.
