Narrowing my collection and drumping the bulk

About 4 years ago I started an ebay store which I mostly sold rolls of walking liberty silver halves at $20-25 bucks profit a roll. I soon amassed a huge assortment of items. Over the summer Ive liquidated a huge amount of items and have kept from rebuying inventory. Now Im down to 250 active listings and about 300 more "extra coins" sitting around. Im having a hard to deciding what to keep for myself and what to pass sell off. One of the major items I have that Im really struggling with is my world silver crowns collection. Ive been picking up crown size silver coins from around the world mostly out of melt or on the cheap trying for a fun cheap collection, which now is a huge value to it and over 200 pieces.
Just really want to know how did some of the other members here decide what was worth keeping.

Your world silver crowns collection sounds pretty neat, though.

<< <i>Yup that's what i'll do.
The thought process revolved around affordability, quality, and ability to collect with knowledge about the series. Spreading limited funds across too many series resulted in average quality sets/coins. Focus allowed me to spend more on each purchase in my self-limited series. My knowledge on my chosen series is now far superior to what it was when I tried to collect it all. Being a specialist has made me a better specialist...if you get the line of thinking there.
I told him : "The bank gives me a XX,XXX.XX line of credit on my "signature", and I just keep flipping it over. The interest has out paced gold and silver the past couple years really hard. So it sucks like eBay, but this is the nature of economic challenges during the Hollow Cost years.

And like the rich man says: "gold doesn't do anything but just sit there". Go long on gold. Why not ?
What to do, what to do? I don't mean this to sound condescending but instead,
facetious. I really wish I had such a dilemma!

Its not as glamorous as it sounds. The space it takes up, the time it takes to list photograph and package each item to sell. What really has me thinking is how much potential income Ive stashed away instead of sold and reinvested. Yes, having the potential to sell it in the future is a nice problem, but it has taken me years to acquire all of it. Hundreds if not thousands of transactions slowing building up to what I have in inventory. So its not as it if I fell into a pot of money, instead have earned it. And yes, I pay taxes on my coin related income.
Having acquired a higher taste for coins over the years, I find myself holding a large amount of what could be described as dreck. It takes a LOT of time and effort to squeeze the extra dollars out of this kind of stuff. But if one has the time, it is definitely worth it.
The low price of bullion right now has also helped motivate me to get on with liquidating. Condensing all this bulky material into cash/PMs sooner rather than later will likely be one of the best decisions of my "collecting career".
