Any added value here????

I am not a collector of errors....I picked up this nickel as part of a larger nickel lot purchased on Ebay......I have never really had a coin in this "extreme" condition.....So should I keep it....or does it belong in the melt pile????

I'd surely consider it a keeper. I'd believe that's extreme enough for a premium.

I'd say it is worth a few dollars premium. Maybe $5 or so?

    Definitely a keeper... Cheers, RickO
  • Cool lamination, definitely worth a premium.

Nice eye appeal equals a premium for this coin.

I agree with all the above posts:

    It's a better-than-average Lamination
on the Reverse; some lamination areas
    on the Obverse; better-than-average
condition..... (most are good to fine)

That being said, War Nicks are very very
    common with laminations; as mentioned,
    it's a $5-ish coin, or thereabouts....a keeper.

Agree with the rest; a keeper but you will not get rich from it.

Just who is it that would actually pay a premium for that?

    Certainly not me.
